Julie is a lactation consultant and a member of the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC).   She is currently a member of a team of lactation support midwives at Bucks Hospitals.

As a registered general nurse and a registered midwife, Julie worked in midwifery for over 20 years in Hertfordshire. During that time she acquired the Advanced Diploma in Midwifery Studies.

A mother of 2 children, Julie developed an ever greater empathetic understanding of breastfeeding issues that mothers deal with on a daily basis.  She is passionate about working with women and their babies and families which stems from her knowledge of the importance of breastfeeding support.

Julie finds helping women to achieve a successful and fulfilling breast feeding experience enormously rewarding on a personal and a professional level.

Please use this email for any information or concerns about breastfeeding and we will do our best to give you a prompt reply.  On some occasions it may be necessary to arrange a one to one home visit or visit to the centre.
