About Me

I am a warm and interactive humanistic psychotherapist. I am interested in supporting people to explore themselves, how they relate to others, and what gives their lives meaning.

Through self-awareness and understanding, we can begin to form different perspectives, and develop strategies for managing ourselves, our relationships, and our lives in more satisfying ways.

Psychotherapy and Counselling with Kate Benton MBACP (Registered)

I offer a confidential, non-judgemental environment where you can talk at your pace about thoughts and experiences you might not find easy to share with those around you.

By exploring your issues together, I can help you become clearer about who you are and what you want and need, as well as developing a better understanding of the people around you.  This can help you to make positive decisions in your life, develop new opportunities, improve your relationships, and manage difficult times with more balance and self-acceptance.

Some of the areas I work with include:

–       Relationships
–       Stress & Anxiety
–       Anger
–       Work & Career
–       Bereavement & Loss
–       Sexuality, sexual identity & LGBT
–       Personal growth & development

I practice at Carmenta and at the Barnsbury Therapy Rooms in London.
