Helping parents to understand and develop their child’s communication needs is at the heart of Claire’s practice. With over 12 years expertise in paediatric therapy, Claire delivers practical and effective solutions to help children reach their full communication potential. Trained in a wide range of evidence based therapeutic approaches such as Parent Child Interaction, Makaton and Derbyshire Language Scheme, Claire is committed to breaking down barriers to communication and increasing children’s success as confident communicators. Claire also has an in depth working knowledge of local education systems and experienced in working collaboratively with other health and education professionals. A free telephone consultation is available for families to discuss their needs in order to determine if Speech and Language Therapy is right for them. Home, school and clinic based visits are available dependant on the needs of each individual child and their family.
