Breastfeeding ‘Cafe’ at Carmenta

Update August 2021

🌸Our free drop in Breastfeeding ‘Cafe’ is running on Thursdays 1.30-3pm🌸

It is just drop in, so no need to make a appointment.🌸
A maximum of 8 parents is permitted for adequate social distancing- so if more parents turn up, partners may need to leave in order for mothers to have priority.🌸
Please bring your own drinks, and cushions if needed.🌸
The Breastfeeding Cafe is a lovely space to practise breastfeeding out and about and have a chat with other mums.🌸
Cathy and/or Julie will be available for you to discuss any feeding issues.  Though we are not able to provide tongue tie/function assessments during the session as more time is required to assess and discuss appropriately.🌸

The ‘Café’ will be run following strict covid rules regarding thorough cleaning and use of PPE.  Although not compulsory, we do ask that you wear a mask for everyone’s safety. Please ensure that you use the hand sanitisers provided and follow our one way system once inside the building.🌸
(If you or any member of your household has experienced and Covid symptoms or tested positive within the past two weeks, please do not come to the Centre.)🌸

We are so excited to be able to welcome you all back.🌸

If you are struggling with complex issues you may prefer to book an individual Zoom session £60 for an hour. Or a face to face consultation £95 per hour.

Our Carmenta Breastfeeding Facebook page has up to date information, articles and videos. And our Carmenta Life Facebook page has Julie’s  ‘lockdown’ vlogs on breastfeeding tips.

Please note, our Baby Feeding Cafe is non funded and run by volunteers. We only ask for a small donation to the local Human Milk Foundation.

Thank you

Cathy and Julie
