Changing Minds
Psychotherapy offers the space for adults to explore deep internal distress and struggles within a safe and compassionate relationship. Our coaches work integratively and creatively, providing a safe and fruitful environment for reflection, self growth and development of practice.
Our sessions begin with an initial consultation lasting between 1.5-2 hours. Thereafter we provide weekly therapy for a programme of usually 6-12 weeks. We then review and look forward to the next stage. Regular sessions last 55 minutes.
Changing Minds is a specialist assessment and CBT therapy service led by consultant clinical psychologist, with extensive clinical experience. They offer psychological assessments, signposting and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, as well as expert supervision for therapists who specialise in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
With over 10 years post qualification experience working in the NHS, and are fully insured to practice privately. We also hold up to date registration cards and practicing certificates with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

Dr Maria O’Neill (Children & Adults)
Specialises in the assessment of Autism and ADHD and has extensive experience to offer therapeutic support and intervention for individuals (children & adults), parents, and couples. Maria’s approaches include use of CBT, coaching, psychoeducation, emotional toolkit, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and mindfulness techniques to support individuals and their loved ones.
