What is Hatha Yoga?
Yoga can improve your mental and physical health. It allows you to strengthen and stretch the body, and improve cardiovascular fitness. There is evidence that yoga helps high blood pressure, heart disease and aches and pains (including lower back pain). Yoga combines movement with breathing and aids relaxation by calming and focusing the mind. Yoga can help with stress, depression and anxiety.
These classes are suitable for all levels, beginners, and anyone looking for a relaxing and gentle work out. Yoga is for everyone regardless of sex, shape, flexibility or age so please come along and try a class!

“Vicki’s experience shines through in her teaching. In the session she clearly and intelligently directs my awareness so that I can appreciate the energy flowing through each pose/movement. I was encouraged by Vicki’s calm assurance and found her methods of teaching motivating. Vicki was engaging and so supportive, praising along the way which gave me the boost to try things without being worried I couldn’t do something. Once the class had finished I felt relaxed and revitalised. I cannot wait to join her group classes and I cannot recommend her enough!”

“I’d not done yoga before but my back was getting stiff and someone recommended I try it. I didn’t really know what to expect but Vicki was really welcoming and introduced the practice in a really easy to understand way. I’d recommend trying yoga with Vicki – you don’t have to be really flexible to try yoga and it’s helped my back a lot.”
