Dr Claire Jensen MBChB BSc DRCOG DFFP MRCGP

Private GP

Claire grew up in Berkhamsted before heading to Bristol University where she graduated with degrees in both Medicine and Biochemistry in 1999.

She initially trained in Paediatrics at St Peter’s Hospital Chertsey and St Georges Tooting, before heading off to do some short term voluntary work in a Mission Hospital in rural Tanzania. On return to the UK she completed General Practice training in South London and gained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners, passing the exam with Merit in 2005. She holds Diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Family Planning. In addition to these interests in Paediatrics and Gynaecology, Claire also has an interest in the role of nutrition and lifestyle in health and disease control and prevention. She is a true generalist and gains great satisfaction from caring for her patients holistically, and so looking at all their health problems and how they might interlink.

Claire also currently works as a GP within the NHS.

Claire is married with two children, lives locally and enjoys an active lifestyle with plenty of fresh air! She has been known to run the odd marathon… She also enjoys singing, playing the piano and spending lots of time with friends and family.
