About me: I grew up wanting to be a witch, not a princess. Discovering herbalism in my late teens was a dream come true!
I learned that you practically trip over a medicinal herb every time you step outside your front door because all those ‘pesky’ weeds are medicines. Our traditional medicines are our wildflowers and the reason we are all here, because herbal medicine was the medicine for our ancestors.
I am a Western Medical Herbalist which means I primarily use the native flora of the UK and Europe. The medicines are in liquid form as tincture (alcohol based) or teas and topical applications like creams, oils and gels.
Specialities: I have a particular love for helping people with their digestive systems; the herbs have such close affinity with the gut, it really is a match made in heaven. Herbs have been such a fundamental help to me with my own digestive concerns over the years. No need for squeamishness or embarrassment as I also have a small child and spend plenty of time talking about poo… even when I’m not at work!
Within your appointment, another area of my specialism is the understanding of how our emotional and physical health can get entangled and prevent you reaching the health goals you desire. Using EFT-Tapping with herbs enables us to unpick the threads of the emotional aspects of a physical condition which then gives the herbs access to get right in there and do their work. There is a truly special synergy within this way of working with me.
