Felicity Bertin
Osteopath & Paediatric (Cranial) Osteopath
Felicity graduated from The British School of Osteopathy and went on to complete postgraduate training in Cranial, Obstetric and Paediatric Osteopathy. She holds a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy from the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy — one of the leading postgraduate qualifications in this field in the UK — and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and the Institute of Osteopathy.
She has additional qualifications in infant feeding, tongue-tie, scar therapy, and orofacial and primitive reflex integration, and is an affiliate of the Association of Tongue-tie Practitioners. Her interest in infant feeding began during breastfeeding peer support training, and she has since contributed to postgraduate teaching in this area for osteopaths in the UK.
Felicity is the founder of Apple Tree Osteopaths, a specialist paediatric, cranial and women’s health osteopathic practice. She has a particular interest in complex feeding difficulties, working with families where feeding challenges may have a structural or neurological component.
She is also the co-author of two books on children’s eating — Yummy Discoveries: The Baby-led Weaning Recipe Book and Yummy Discoveries: Worry-Free Weaning — and founded @BabyPathway, an educational platform supporting families through early development.
Qualifications
After graduating from The British School of Osteopathy with a Distinction, Fliss registered with the General Osteopathic Council and Institute of Osteopathy and undertook post-graduate training in Cranial, Obstetric and Paediatric Osteopathy.
Fliss has also undergone training as a breastfeeding support worker and has developed a keen interest in working with children with feeding difficulties. She is currently training to be a lactation consultant (IBCLC) and is one of the first osteopaths to enrol in the SCCO paediatric osteopathy diploma (POD).
Experience
Fliss lectures at Masters level in Embryology, Developmental Biology and Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal Medicine. She has co-authored two books on children’s eating, Yummy Discoveries: The Baby-led Weaning Recipe Book and Yummy Discoveries: Worry-free Weaning. Both books offer support to families weaning their babies on to solid food and managing fussy eating.
